The Rotary Filler and Sealer for Butter or Margarine in Tubs is a rotary packaging system designed for the hygienic, continuous filling and sealing of pasty dairy and fat products in preformed containers. It is suitable for butter, margarine, cottage cheese, spreads, and edible fats, delivering accurate dosing across a wide format range while maintaining stable product handling.
The unit operates on a cyclic rotary platform optimized for high‑viscosity products. Product can be supplied either by direct feed from the process line or from a hopper equipped with augers, ensuring consistent feeding and stable dosing conditions. For optimal texture and clean deposition, the system is designed to work with product at controlled inlet temperature, typically 54–61°F (12–16°C).
A volumetric dosing system fills PP tubs of multiple geometries with repeatable accuracy, followed by sealing with either an aluminum membrane or a plastic lid, depending on the selected packaging specification. Finished containers are discharged ready for coding, boxing, and distribution.
