The SII‑IM‑25 Rotary Jet Mixer is designed for hygienic and efficient mixing in large‑scale dairy, milk, whey, and food processing tanks. The system is suitable for batch tanks ranging from 2,642 to 264,172 gal (10–1,000 m³) and provides a recirculation flow rate of up to 396 gpm (90 m³/h). The mixer delivers a jet reach of up to 39.4 ft (12 m) and is certified for ATEX Zones 0–20, making it suitable for hazardous processing environments. This advanced mixing system utilizes three‑dimensional rotary jet technology to achieve rapid and homogeneous mixing throughout the entire tank volume. Unlike conventional agitators equipped with shafts and propellers, the SII‑IM‑25 operates through an external recirculation loop that propels the product through rotating nozzles, ensuring complete tank coverage with controlled turbulence and high process efficiency. Operating Principle Installation: The mixer is mounted on a descending pipe and positioned below the liquid level inside the tank. Recirculation: An external pump withdraws product from the bottom of the tank and returns it through the mixer. Rotary Injection: The liquid is discharged through 2 or 4 nozzles that rotate simultaneously through 360° on both horizontal and vertical axes. Total Coverage: High‑velocity jets reach all areas of the tank, eliminating dead zones and ensuring uniform mixing. With no mechanical components inside the tank, the system eliminates the risk of lubricant contamination, prevents internal wear, and complies with hygienic design requirements for dairy and food processing. The intelligent three‑dimensional rotation generates optimized flow patterns that prevent stratification and ensure homogeneity, even when processing products with different densities or viscosities up to 10,000 cP.
